The heating plant will be established on Odsherred Utility's site on the same plot as Fårevejle Wastewater Treatment Plant. In connection with the contract, an area will be designated for construction site in the immediate vicinity.
As a result of the heating plant's location at the treatment plant, an output of up to 1.5 MW of heat is expected to utilize the naturally occurring excess heat in the treated wastewater. The tender documents describe a technically indicative solution for this.
The remaining heat pump power is expected to be established with outdoor air recorders of a total power of approx. 3 MW of heat at -1°C. The tender documents describe a technically indicative solution for this.
No choice of refrigerant and compresses technology has been made on the part of the builder for heat pump systems. The tender documents describe a model for warranty and performance testing which will be subject to negotiation.
The boiler plant has the purpose of peak and reserve load as well as regulated power performance. The tender documents describe a technically indicative solution for this.
For the present tender, the developer has a number of deliveries, including a buffer tank for treated wastewater and an accumulation tank. The purpose of these client deliveries is, if possible, to have these facilities established before the present contract is initiated.
In parallel with the execution of this contract, a new district heating network will be established by another contractor in the area for supplying customers in the area respectively. Fårevejle station town and Fårevejle Kirkeby. This district heating network is expected to be ready for the sale of heat from the end of the third quarter of 2023.
