The large district town of Waghäusel is planning the construction of a new two-tier community school with a program area (PF) of approx. 2,709 m² as a GC service according to the principle of "planning and building".

The large district town of Waghäusel is planning the construction of a new two-tier community school with a program area (PF) of approx. 2,709 m². The school is to be built in room module construction or system construction. Other construction methods, such as wood or wood hybrid construction, are possible. One of the top project goals for the new building is completion at the beginning of the 2025/26 school year (maximum optimization of planning and construction time).

In the new building of the community school, classrooms and learning zones for the school are accommodated (as clusters or "room groups"). Furthermore, various specialist rooms, multifunctional rooms and various higher-level uses such as administration/teacher areas, social work, SMV rooms, student and teacher libraries belong to the project. An important building block for the project and the entire school campus is the canteen with supply kitchen. Furthermore, synergies between the two schools are to be created, for example by using some specialist rooms of the Realschule by community schools. Therefore, a direct, weather-protected connecting corridor between the two schools is planned.

Another connecting element of the two schools is the schoolyard, which, however, is to be implemented in a separate project and award procedure.

In order to achieve cost and schedule security with regard to the new school building at an early stage, the large district town of Waghäusel would like to award the new building as a combined planning and construction tender for turnkey realization. The tender procedure is carried out in the form of a combined procedure "Planning and Building" according to EU VOB/A.

The client assumes an estimated total value of the tendered services of approx. EUR 17.6 million gross (KG 200 to 700, whereby only very small service shares of the contractor in KG 500 and KG 600 are to be provided).
