Structural planning for a research and laboratory building in Freiburg
Structural planning according to HOAI 2013 part 4, section 1, service phase 1-8.
New construction of a research and laboratory building on the airfield of the University of Freiburg in building field 3 on Georges-Köhler-Allee. An auditorium, the reception, the main access stairs and a passenger elevator, as well as a showroom are to be located in the entrance area. The communication and catering area for guests and employees should be connected to a multifunctional seminar area. The workshops should be on the ground floor with a clear room height of about 4 meters (payload approx. 1 t / m 2 ) to be ordered. The offices are to be planned in relation to the laboratory areas. The laboratory areas include S2 / S3 laboratories, clean room and technical center. A freight elevator must be planned for the introduction of heavy and bulky laboratory equipment. In the partial basement of the building, the rooms can be arranged that serve the operation of building and process technology. In addition, the server room, various storage rooms and a storage room for 60 bicycles, which can be reached via a ramp, should also be located there. Changing rooms with showers should be assigned to the bicycle room. The development plan requires compliance with the Freiburg Efficiency House Standard 70. For this purpose, an energy concept should be drawn up in the further course of the planning. The gross floor area (GFA) of the entire building is approximately 13,485 m 2 , The highly installed clean room areas account for around 500 m of this 2 , S2 laboratory approx. 760 m 2 , S3 laboratory approx. 40 m 2 , Further information can be found in the enclosed feasibility study.
