A new switchgear with a medium-voltage switchgear 20 kV as a focal point Fe50 is built in Mannheim Feudenheim, Adolf-Damaschke-Ring (on the green area between house numbers 23 and 25). In order to ensure a reliable power supply also with regard to future increased power requirements, as well as for safety reasons in terms of operator, personnel and transmission safety, a 20 kV switchgear including new protection and station control technology as well as self-consumption systems is to be supplied, installed and put into operation.
The construction of the new switchgear and all ancillary facilities will take place in the newly built building, which will be composed of precast concrete elements with several rooms.
