The Neustadt an der Waldnaab high school, a state high school for boys and girls, was founded in 1972 and completed in 1977. The school is currently attended by around 600 pupils who are taught by 64 teachers. The building, constructed in concrete stand construction, was adapted to the existing slope topography and built as a split-level structure over a total of 6 levels (GFA: 11 090.00 m 2nd , NGF: 9 256.00 m 2nd ).

In order to meet the demands of a modern high school, the school in Neustadt an der Waldnaab should be completely renovated. On the one hand, this serves to transform the existing building into a modern learning house, on the other hand, the new energetic and safety-related requirements (fire protection, building physics, etc.) for a contemporary, environmentally conscious building must be met.

2. "Information about the construction site":

Access, storage area west:

The main access is via Eichendorffweg, along the gymnasium west of the building and along the West teacher parking lot. The teacher parking lot west remains as such during the construction period, is used and is therefore not available as storage space. The driveway is paved and paved. Storage and parking spaces are available in the construction site area. Details can be found in the enclosed construction site layout plan. Required storage and container areas are to be coordinated with the AG-side property surveillance before the start of execution.

The main access is via the Bildstraße, via the teachers parking lot east along the southern part of the building on the slope. The driveway is paved or paved.

The teacher parking lot east remains as such even during the construction period, is used and is therefore not available as storage space. This can be used to a limited extent as a footprint. A limited number of storage and container areas are available in the construction site area. In the southern construction site area in particular, the necessary storage and container areas must be coordinated with the AG-side property monitoring company before the start of execution. Details can be found in the enclosed construction site layout plan.

The construction site may only be approached for loading and unloading, delivery vehicles must be removed immediately after the unloading process has been completed. There is no parking on the site itself.

Access routes for fire, rescue, police and other auxiliary vehicles must always be kept clear. The road traffic regulations apply on the site.

The building is divided into the following components and areas:

Component 2 (not part of the service):

- Three-storey, medium-sized building - assembly hall, administration, classrooms;

- Levels: 1 / 1.5 / 3/5;

- All adjoining rooms to the south of the auditorium (formerly the inner courtyard) on level 2 (e.g. ventilation and technical rooms);

- Construction phase: BA 1.

Component 3 (not part of the service):

- Four-story, eastern building structure - side rooms, classrooms;

- Level 2/4/6 = BA1 - toilet facilities;

- construction phase: BA 1;

- Levels 0 and 6 are completely part 3 and thus - construction section 1 is also assigned, even if these partially overlap with part 2, 4 or 6.

Component 4 (part of the service):

- Level 6 = BA 1 - classrooms (not part of the service);

- Level 2 = BA 2 - storage and technical rooms, ventilation center;

- Level 4 = BA 2 - specialist rooms, classrooms, collections, secondary rooms.

Component 5 (part of the service):

- Single-storey, south-western building - classrooms;

- Level 4 = BA 2 - subject rooms, classrooms, collections.

Component 6 (part of the service):

- Four-storey, western structure - classrooms, cafeteria;

- Level 2/4/6 = BA 2 - new staircase;

- Level 2/4 = BA 2 - classrooms, cafeteria;

- Level 6 = BA 1 - branch corridor with escape exit (not part of the service);

- Level 2/4/6 = BA1 - toilet facilities (not part of the service);

- Level 0 = BA 1 - storage and technical rooms, prov. IT room (not part of the service).

3. "Execution information":

The renovation of the entire system is planned in two construction phases, whereby the 1 construction phase has already been completed. In the second construction phase, approx. One third of the main building will be completely renovated and revised inside and out. During this time, school operations take place in the already renovated part of the building and on other areas in the gym. This list of services describes the work relating to the second construction phase.

Working hours or restrictions:

A distinction is made between 3 times for the execution of the work and the associated noise pollution of the students with the following restrictions: Abitur exams

Restriction: No noise at and in the building. No drilling and machine-guided demolition work on the concrete structure or solid components, no excavator operation on the building, no compaction (vibrating plates, etc.), no use of the rubble chutes during the Abitur period.

Possible examination times in general

No restrictions. Particularly intensive use of these time periods by appropriate staff and equipment increase. Noise-intensive breakthroughs and demolitions of the concrete structures (with the exception of component 1) should take place during these periods if possible.

Since the work takes place during normal operation and it is a school building, special attention should be paid to noise and damage! In the course of the general renovation, part of the building construction and surfaces remain unaffected by the construction work or have already been completed. Areas adjacent to the respective service must be kept free of damage and accordingly protected from damage during the course of the work! Appropriate protective measures must be included in the unit prices.

5. "Execution period":

Delivery and installation period: 07 / 2021-09 / 2021

The deadlines are contractual deadlines. School operations can only take place in a restricted and very cramped manner during the conversion period. For this reason, the measure must be completed on time. Funding is also tied to this schedule. Failure to meet the deadlines will result in the loss of the deadline and will be charged to the party responsible.
