South Derbyshire District Council is seeking to appoint one or two principal contractors to undertake our:

Lot 1 — Heating Maintenance contract — safety checks, repairs and maintenance to all properties.

Lot 2 — Heating Installations contract — approximately 78 full gas heating installations and 55 boiler upgrades per annum.

Lot 3 — both of the above.

The Council has 3 015 properties that have mainly gas fired heating systems, with smaller numbers of solid fuel, oil, biomass, ground source, air source, and electrical storage heating systems. The works shall also include the commercial gas boilers within the Council offices.

The contracts shall be for a three year period with an option to extend for up to a further two years. The commencement dates may be phased with installations commencing in July 2017 and the safety checking, repairs and maintenance works commencing in January 2018.
