Auxiliary Hardware and Software to Upgrade Quanta 650, FEG-ESEM
Introduction
The International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga, Portugal, is looking to acquire auxiliary hardware and software to upgrade the Quanta 650 FEG- Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope.
Technical Requirements of the package
1. Back-scattered Detector
— A Solid State (SS) Directional Back-scattered (DBS) detector which can be used in high-vacuum, low-vacuum and in the ESEM mode.
— It should be possible to mount the detector to the lower pole piece of the electron column to enable simultaneous EDS spectra.
— The detector should enable separate detection of electrons emitted at different angles.
— This Lens-mounted DBS detector should be compatible with the existing Quanta 650 FEG system.
2. Nav-Cam
— An optical camera for Quanta 650 (FEG) systems that can mount to the SEM chamber door in order to enable acquiring image of samples mounted on the specimen stage.
— The camera system should be able to acquire high quality images, should cover the stage travel area of 6” (150 mm) and should be able to be zoomed in the user interface to look more closely at a specific sample location.
— The camera should be compatible with the existing Control Software version which is already available in the Quanta 650 ESEM.
3. A package for upgrading the Quanta FEG User Interface software to a higher version.
4. A software compatible with the existing INCA software to provide particle and inclusion analysis applications that combines easy set-up, rapid and accurate particle detection, and to provide powerful data analysis.

Auxiliary Hardware and Software to Upgrade Titan
Introduction
The International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga, Portugal, is looking to acquire auxiliary hardware and software to upgrade the Titan 80-200 kV microscope.
Technical Requirements of the package
1. A software package to enable performing Focus Series Acquisition and Reconstruction. The package should enable the user in determining all important acquisition and reconstruction parameters.
— It should be compatible with the existing microscope's User Interface.
2. Off-line Quantitative Software Package for the already existing Super X EDS system.
— An additional license for off-line software package in order to enable the quantitative analysis of EDX data acquired with Super X.
3. TEM Scripting
— A TEM Scripting which permits the control of the Titan microscope by a user application under Windows NT, Windows 200, Windows XP or higher. This package should contain a library of high-level microscope control functions that can be called from other applications. The facility should provide control of microscope functions such as the optics, plate camera and specimen stage, as well as the User buttons of the microscope's Control Pads.
4. EELS Analysis Software Offline
— An offline version of EELS Analysis and should also include Digital Micrograph Offline version.
