The Technical Department of the Municipality of Tervola will ask for your offer for winter maintenance work on the yard areas of properties owned by the municipality, as well as on the plans and private roads in the plowing guide for the maintenance period 10/2022 - 5/2025. The agreement also includes a two-year option period, in which case the contract will continue until 5/2027. The use of the option will be decided in March 2025 and the activation of the option is subject to the approval of both parties. According to estimates, the plowing season begins in October and ends in May at the latest.

The content of the offer is divided into seven areas as follows:

- Subdivision 1: private roads in area 1 (Ylipaakkola, Paakkola, Kaisajoki, Kuusikko)

- Subdivision 2: private roads in area 2 (Varejoki, Kätkävaara) and yard areas of municipal properties located in the area ( Varejoki School, Leiri-Kätkä)

- Subdivision 3: private roads in area 3 (Loue, Peura, Koivu) and the yard areas of municipal properties located in the area (Koivu School, Loue School, Lapland Savi)

- Subdivision 4: private roads in area 4 (Vähäjoki, Suolijoki, Suukoski)

- Subdivision 5: private roads in area 5 (Pahtaoja, Runkaus, Mattinen, Kivioja) and the yard area of the Mattise school property in the area

- Subtopic 6: town plans and private roads located in the area

- Subdivision 7: ownership of the municipality in the yard areas of real estate in the area of the municipal centre

You can submit a quote for either one or more areas, but the same machine cannot be selected for more than one region. The equipment shall be selected in the order set out in the section "Basics for decision-making". If the equipment has already been selected for one of the previous areas, it will no longer be taken into account in the selection of plowing equipment for subsequent areas.

The tender shall be submitted on a sub-sector basis as the total price for one plowing period based on unit prices (€/m or €/m2). In addition to the base machine and the driver, the offer price must include all the instructions. the equipment required to carry out winter maintenance work on the subregion (e.g. plowing, removal of polante, lowering of the barrier, anti-slip control). The fight against slippery conditions is only part of the winter maintenance of the yard areas of the plans and municipal properties, and the necessary sanding material is acquired by the municipality. The maintenance of private roads does not include the prevention of slippery conditions, but private yards are ploughed into a turning point according to the instructions if necessary.

The contractor of Sub-area 6 (town plan tracks) must have two machine units available for snow ploughing. For other areas, one machine unit is sufficient.
