New construction of a triple sports hall for the NRW sports school "Landrat-Lucas-Gymnasium", for clubs and the use as a multi-purpose hall (meeting place) on the site of the new railway city opladen in Leverkusen based on the existing design planning (Lph 1-3 HOAI).

The development plan of the new railway city of opladen (nbso) specifies a III - IV storey construction with facades and brick cladding.

From the completely glazed foyer, visitors to sporting events, users of the weight room as well as the meeting and classroom can access the grandstand floor via two open stairs. The athletes who use the hall reach the basement via the same stairs, where the changing rooms and other side rooms are located. The athletes reach the sports hall from the basement via an internal staircase (sneaker walk). For visitors to sports, school and other events there is a direct connection between the foyer and the hall. Events are delivered directly from the northern car park to the hall.

The hall is planned as a multi-purpose hall (meeting place) for sports, school and other events. The number of spectators for sporting events, with a grandstand used to the maximum, is 535 spectators. Two scenarios (large and small scene areas) can be implemented for sports, school and other events. The maximum number of visitors to sports, school and other events is set at 600 people. Nevertheless, the focus is on the main school use by the Landrat-Lucas-Gymnasium as an elite school of sport or sports school NRW.
