The "Dresdner Bahn" construction project includes the reconstruction and electrification of the double-track line Südkreuz (a) – Blankenfelde (6135). Extensive construction work will take place on the approx. 16 km long expansion route in the period from December 2018 to December 2025, carried out by various construction companies. The overall measure is divided into various award packages, some of which overlap in terms of time and place.

Within the framework of this call for tenders, the following services must be provided by the tenderer:

Cross-trade cable coordination (railway cables) with the aim of timely relocation or re-routing to ensure the clearance of construction and thus the avoidance of costly construction delays.

The experience to date with the "Dresdner Bahn" construction project shows that during the ongoing construction work, existing lines are repeatedly encountered that are neither shown in as-built documents and/or were not included in the plans intended for relocation. Solutions need to be found for these lines in the short term. This requires the short-term development of practicable concepts (variants if necessary). These are to be developed in close coordination with PL DB Netz AG / operators (railway stations) and in particular the various construction companies.

In particular, the task includes:

• Inspections with the client, operator and contractor / execution of (on-site) inventories, clarification of contact persons,

• Examination / plausibility check of existing planning documents of different construction contractors with regard to points of conflict,

• Examination of the implementation dates / construction processes of different construction contractors with regard to points of conflict. In the event of identifiable scheduling conflicts, specific schedules are agreed with the parties involved. This includes the examination of the existing construction phase and closure break concepts,

• Coordination of the necessary, concrete construction measures with all parties involved in terms of expertise and deadlines.

• Clarification / coordination of the type and scope of the required documentation for relocations during construction

• Inspections with the Client, Operator and Construction Contractor,

• Conducting meetings (independent organization / invitation / taking minutes),

• Carrying out (on-site) inventories, clarification of contact persons,

• Examination / plausibility check of existing planning documents.

• Clarification / coordination of the type and scope of the necessary tests for new and rerouting of cables. This includes the examination of whether the

plans are subject to a plan review and whether an acceptance review must be carried out,

• Review of the plans of different construction contractors with regard to points of conflict. This includes checking the completeness of the plans,

• Examination of the implementation dates / construction processes of different construction contractors with regard to points of conflict. In the event of identifiable scheduling conflicts,

Examination of the existing construction phase and closure break concepts; Goal: A holistic, optimized concept with the lowest possible

operational interventions,

• Coordination of the necessary, concrete construction measures with all parties involved in terms of expertise and deadlines. This includes

the examination of the contractual services of the respective construction contractor.
