The object of the procurement is ServiceNow (or equivalent) licenses and additional services, including the right to extend and change access rights during the contract period, as well as ITSM expert services.

In addition to the aforementioned access rights and expert services, the procurement target includes a transition between the solution and service production, as part of which they are transferred from under the existing contract to the scope of service production under the new agreement.

A more detailed description of the object of the acquisition is given in Annex 1 to the Call for Tender, Description of the object of the acquisition.

LapIT has an existing IT service management solution based on ServiceNow products, for the use and development of which this acquisition is made. Significant investments have been made in the current solution and the development of operations based on it, and e.g. LapIT's general IT service management processes are centrally built on the operating logic of the current solution and the support it provides. LapIT also offers a separate solution based on the same product to its customer LSHP.

In order to continue to utilize the solution and the aforementioned significant investments in practice, the product to be procured must be ServiceNow or a similar product that is practically identical to it. It is not possible to define the subject matter of the contract with sufficient precision other than by expressly referring to the name of a particular product, as this is the only way to ensure the technical compatibility required to take advantage of the current solution.

Based on the above-described background, the key objectives of the procurement are 1) to enable the full use of existing solutions and investments in the services it supports also in the future, and 2) to enable the further development of existing solutions and the services they support.

In order to achieve these goals, LapIT is looking for a supplier who has the ability to offer the access rights required by the solutions cost-effectively and has in-depth knowledge of both the product offered and the development of operations related to IT service management.
