The purpose of the contract is the two-year service for the execution of maintenance activities, assessments and laboratory analyses functional to the correct management of the legionellosis risk according to the provisions of the guidelines for the prevention and control of legionellosis (State-Regions conference in the session of 7.5.2015) and in agreement with the company DVRL, at the airports of Leonardo da Vinci in Fiumicino and G. B. Ciampino Pastine.

The purpose of the contract is the two-year service for the prevention and control of legionella contamination of the water system, the routine and planned maintenance of plants, networks and points water supply as well as activities specifically required by the customer for the sanitation and cleaning of water storage tanks and the sanitation of internal buildings networks airport services (main performance) and laboratory analysis (secondary performance) functional to the correct management of the legionellosis risk of the “Leonardo da Vinci” airport of Fiumicino and the airport” G. B. Pastine” in Ciampino according to the provisions of the State-Regions conference guidelines at the sitting on 7.5.2015.

The total biennial amount of the contract amounts to EUR 917 603.40, divided as follows:

(a) EUR 407 067.00 as a two-year amount 'on the basis of auction for the prevention and control of contamination of the water system (main benefit);

(b) 288 200.00 EUR as a maximum two-year amount 'to measure', subject to a reduction, available to the customer for the conduct of sanitizing activities of internal networks to airport buildings and activities cleaning and sanitizing of hot/cold drinking water storage tanks (main performance);

(c) EUR 200 000.00 as a maximum two-year amount 'to measure', subject to lower, for the laboratory sampling and analysis service (secondary performance);

(d) EUR 2 336.40 as a two-year amount 'to measure', not subject to lower, for security charges from DUVRI;

(e) EUR 20 000.00 as a maximum two-year amount 'to measure', not subject to a downward basis, available to the customer for any breakdown interventions (main performance).

Pursuant to art. 23, paragraph 16 of the Procurement Code, the amounts referred to in letters a), b), c) and e) are inclusive of the labor costs that the contracting station estimated at a total of EUR 706 067.00.

With reference to the methods of accounting and payment of the amounts referred to above, please refer to the provisions of the other tender documents (i.e., tender regulations, special specifications of contract).

The estimated amounts indicated in points II.1.5) and II.2.6) and the duration indicated in point II.2.7) shall also include the possible full exercise of the options referred to in point II.2.11).

The contract is not subdivisible into lots pursuant to art. 51 of Legislative Decree no. 50/2016 and s.m.i., due to the need for the client to manage synergistic services covered by the contract for the purpose by:

— ensure a more effective and coordinated use of the complex of the activities subject to the contract,

— ensure a uniform level of service in all areas subject to intervention,

— effectively monitor spending and ensure the rationalization and containment of expenditure through a global management of the service itself.
