The object of the contract is the performance of the following services: management of the RF 169 MHz transmission network in the entire area north of the urban concentric area of the city of Bari (so-called "northern area"); the remote reading / remote management services of 1580 gdm (with integrated add-ons or gdm) with point-to-point transmission modes; periodic verification of gas volume conversion devices; staff training in relation to the management of the RF 169 MHz transmission network and to the gdm remote reading / remote management services with point-to-point transmission methods. For details on the aforementioned services, see the Special Tender Specifications.

The object of the contract is to perform the following services:

1) Management of the RF 169 MHz transmission network in the entire area north of the urban concentric area of the city of Bari (so-called "northern area", which includes the Santo Spirito, Palese and Stanic districts; the building in via Partipilo; the districts San Paolo, Fesca, San Girolamo and Marconi, the northern part of the Libertà district, Torre Tresca and other limited groups of buildings), for a total of approximately 30,950 smart meters. Network management will include:

Or the migration service of the Open-SAC RF point-to-multipoint system at the headquarters of the economic operator, as well as the maintenance of the same and of the network devices (the existing gateways and access points, as well as the new network devices mentioned in point following);

Or the design and completion of the RF network in the "territorial area in operation" and the design and construction of the RF network in the areas not covered, through the supply and installation of new network devices, all up to the achievement of the prescribed performance levels / offered; it is specified that the roll-out of the gdm will be performed by the Client;

Or the remote reading / remote management services in compliance with the UNI-TS 11291 standards (from section 1 to section 11 as applicable), of class G4 / G6 smart meter metering units, both in areas already covered by the network and in those on which will be extended;

Or support for RF smart meter qualification.

2) Remote reading / remote management of 1580 gdm (with integrated add-ons or gdm) with point-to-point transmission mode, which will include:

Or the provision of its own point-to-point SAC (hereinafter SAC PP) with the simultaneous migration into it of the dbase of gdm transmitting in point-to-point mode;

Or the services of remote reading / management in compliance with the UNI-TS 11291 standards (from section 1 to section 12 as applicable) of the gdm (with integrated add-ons or gdm) with point-to-point transmission modes of any class and type, installed throughout the Bari area;

Or the census of the gdm with point-to-point transmission and the add-on maintenance service;

Or the supply of integrated gdm, add-ons and batteries, as well as the installation and activation of add-ons.

3) Periodic verification of gas volume conversion devices.

4) Staff training in relation to the management of the RF 169 MHz transmission network and to the remote reading / remote management of the gdm with point-to-point transmission mode
