The successful Supplier will be required to provide catering services for Byrchall High School, located in Ashton in Makerfield in the North West of England.

Byrchall High School is a school of 11-16-year olds with approximately 970 pupils. Byrchall is a high-attaining, caring community where every child is valued and encouraged to succeed. The catering is currently managed by a contractor and has been for 5 years.

The contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.

The client is looking for a catering provider who is experienced and innovative in providing catering services to the education sector. The successful supplier will be expected to uphold high standards of food and service, demonstrating a strong commitment to healthy eating and to increasing sales. A high level of contract support will be expected.

The school kitchen and dining area need some refurbishment so proposals for capital investment will be invited.

Please note there will be some employees in the local government pension scheme, therefore admitted body status will be expected.
