The current activities at Ormsund container terminal in Oslo port shall, during 2015, be transferred to Sjursøya container terminal. The current termainal area at Sjursøya container termainal (stage 1) must therefore be extended westwards (the extension will start in stage 2) in order to make this increase in traffic possible.
The aim of this procurement is to qualify contractors to give a tender for the quay in stage 2.
361 m of quay shall be constructed as an extension of the current quay at Sjursøya container terminal, so that the total quay length after the extension is 665 m, cf. the attached drawings. This is necessary in order to move the activities at the current Ormsund container terminal to Sjursøya.
Tenderers that are qualified will be sent the tender documents that consist of 2 parts:
— Part A: One contract in accordance with NS 8405 that comprises ground works and foundations (filling in and excavation, erosion protection and piling).
— Part B: One contract in accordance with NS 3431 that comprises concrete works and equipment (in principle all works over top pile).
The works from the two contracts will give a complete container quay. The turnkey contractor that gets the contract for the superstructure will also get the contract for ground and foundation works and will be responsible for the coordination of them. It is a prerequisite that the two contracts are awarded to the same contractor. This will be the awarding authority's contracting party.
