The subject of the tender is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the continuous maintenance and servicing of emergency lighting systems for BER Airport. By providing the aforementioned services, the contractor shall ensure maximum availability, functionality and proper condition of the systems. Scope of services: Maintenance and servicing of 81 emergency lighting systems with approx. 30,000 safety and escape sign luminaires in 71 buildings. The services are to be carried out both outside the aviation security area (landside) and within the aviation security area (airside).

The contract period is fixed for 3 years and can be extended twice by 1 year each (option).

The stored front rates are used to calculate adequate unit prices. The quoted first rates are to be understood as expected maximum quantities of the individual items and as an orientation for each one-year contract term and do not reflect the actual call-offs. They are based on empirical values and may deviate downwards and upwards. The total quantity resulting from the draft bill of quantities represents the estimated quantity under public procurement law and at the same time the maximum quantity for one year. Since this is a framework agreement, the total quantity shown may also be distributed unevenly among several framework contract partners. These are various individual measures per year with expected order values of approx. EUR 1.0 thousand net to approx. EUR 30.0 thousand net. During the term of the contract, an contractor is not entitled to the retrieval of individual positions. Furthermore, the client reserves the right to hold mini-competitions among the contracting parties to determine prices.
