Dynamic purchasing system for the financial services category

The Police hires temporary staff through the Police Hiring Desk and aims to appeal to a diversity of providers, regardless of the organizational form. The Police Hiring Desk is published as a dynamic purchasing system under the 2012 Procurement Act. As of 18.4.2016, the Public Procurement Directive (2014/24) will apply to this and the Hiring Desk will fall under the regime of that Directive.

This category concerns the temporary hiring of personnel in financial services. To qualify for future contracts, suppliers can submit a request for authorization for this category. This is possible on the website www.inhuurdeskpolitie.nl

Finance consists of a Finance Policy Directorate in the Police Force Staff and a Finance Department in the Police Services Center (PDC).

The Finance department in the PDC. All executive financial tasks are performed by the PDC's Finance Department. The management draws up and monitors frameworks and guidelines for these executive tasks. There is therefore a functional management line for the Finance department in the PDC. The Finance Department primarily focuses on supporting the Finance Department for Planning & Control and supporting decision-making. The service creates and maintains a detailed and up-to-date overview of the income and expenditure of the force. The financial processes are standardized and automated as much as possible on the basis of a business management system. The Finance department consists of the departments Financial Policy Support, Financial Implementation Support and Financial Administration.

For the Financial Services category, the Police is regularly looking for professionals, such as:

- business controllers,

- financial controllers,

- project controllers,

- financial specialists Treasury,

- accountants,

- financial advisers,

- employees planning & control.

An average of ten inquiries per year were issued for the financial services category in 2018 and 2019.

The Police intends to use the category for a term of five years, starting from 21.3.2020, with an option to extend it by two times twelve months.
