The subject of the present award procedure are specialist planning services of the technical building equipment according to § 55 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15.1 in the plant groups 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the service phases 5 to 9 for the construction of the "Energiezentrale Waldäcker III".

According to current planning, SWLB expects a maximum construction volume of around EUR 11,569,240 net (KG 400 according to DIN 276-1:2008-12).
As part of the capacity expansion and to achieve the sustainability goals in the Ludwigsburg district heating network, Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg-Kornwestheim GmbH (SWLB) has decided to build a new "Waldäcker III" energy centre. The generation concept is based on
- 9 MW electric (2x 4.5MW) biomethane combined heat and power plant (CHP); the amount of electricity generated is to be fed into the public power grid and remunerated via the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). The heat is fed into the interconnected grid;
- 1 MW of electric natural gas combined heat and power plant; Self-generated electricity for heat pumps. The heat is fed into the interconnected grid;
- 3.6 MW thermal heat pump; Waste heat recovery of the CHP;
- 4 x 250 m³ buffer tank; decoupling of heat generation and consumption;
- 5 MW thermal natural gas peak load boiler (realization not currently planned).
SWLB holds the district heating concession in the cities of Ludwigsburg and Kornwestheim. The new energy centre must be integrated into the overarching control of the existing district heating network system as well as into the existing control technology.
