Grenland Brann og Redning IKS needs a new fire station after the entity was established and permanent staffing was facilitated. It must be a fully functional fire station with all support functions.

The contract work for the construction of a new fire station in Bamble Municipality will comprise approx. 4200 m2 (gross area) excluding fictitious areas and parking.

The fire station for the permanent staff must have room functions for the fire service, boat stand-by, chimney sweeping service, inter-municipal committee against acute pollution (IUA), practice tower, etc.

In addition, the fire station must, amongst other things, have office facilities, a kitchen, lounge, bedrooms with bathrooms, vestibule, and teaching rooms, changing rooms, stores, and workshop facilities.

Besides procurements for all the technical equipment and fixed fixtures, the contract will also be responsible for the procurement of mobile fixtures such as, beds, tables, dining tables, chairs, and armchairs, special lighting, office and meeting room furniture, etc.
