Leicestershire County Council is following Direct Award Process B in accordance with The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 for the purpose of procuring psychological and therapeutic services for children and families.
Providers who can demonstrate they have the required standards to deliver therapeutic services to children and families will be added to a list of approved providers eligible to be awarded contracts
The contract is awarded with no guarantee of activity. The actual contract value will vary dependent on the activity delivered. The estimated aggregated contract value for psychological and therapeutic services over the next 5 years is £6,000,000. Therefore, this notice outlines a total contract value for each provider from £1.00 to £6,000,000.
Provision of evidence-based therapeutic services to support children and families to process historical or current trauma.

Providers who can demonstrate they have the required standards to deliver therapeutic services to children and families will be added to a list of approved providers eligible to be awarded contracts.
The estimated aggregated contract value for psychological and therapeutic services over the next 5 years is £6,000,000. The number of children supported by any one provider is not restricted, but each assessment will cost no more than £5000 per child.
The list of eligible providers will be in place from 6th June 2024 to 31st May 2029
This will be for new services provided by a mix of new and existing providers.
