In 2007 Twence has started up a biomass electricity plant (BEC). This plant is mainly proficient on B-wood and produces electricity.The BEC 2.0 project means that the BEC steam turbine has to produce heat and electricity. The current steam turbine does not have a big controlled extraction, therefore Twence has decided to buy a new one and to place it in a new (to build) turbine building.
