The IHK-Akademie Schwaben plans to procure an Industry 4.0 learning factory for the implementation of training courses.

The Industry 4.0 learning factory is intended to provide training on current Siemens S7 PLC systems in conjunction with sensors (inductive, capacitive, infrared and ultrasound) and actuators (pneumatic, electropneumatic and hydraulic).

In addition to the hardware, an MES or an ERP system for material requirements planning and control of resources and resources as well as an online shop is required for the simulation of fully automated production in the sense of Industry 4.0.
