Trade-up of existing licenses with subsequent purchase on a small scale by means of EVB-IT purchase, conclusion of an EVB-IT service contract for support services in the Cloud Pak for Data environment

BG ETEM has been using the IBM SPSS Modeler software for many years in order to make optimal use of the wealth of data generated in the course of its business activities. On the basis of the product, several AI applications and development projects are operated for various departments of BG ETEM. These use both the SPSS Modeler and native Python for processing. Using the IBM Collaboration and Deployment Service tool, AI projects with job schedules are executed several times a week.

Since BG ETEM is planning further AI projects in the future based on its experience and successes to date and would like to further expand this area, the aim is to switch (trade-up) from the existing platform to a future-oriented and flexibly expandable solution (Cloud Pak for Data, CP4D). This change is accompanied by a slight expansion.
