The planned new building of the Center for Old-Age Medicine represents a structural expansion measure to the existing Albertine hospital. The primary goal of the planning is to strengthen existing synergies in the house and to optimize paths for patients and personnel through the overall structure. As a “Center for Old-Age Medicine “(ZfA), the new building is intended to be perceived in terms of design as an independent functional unit and building. The building creates a comprehensive range of treatment, rehabilitation and care for the growing older population.
