The services provided by the contractor include technical equipment engineering equipment, size 1,2,3,7,8 in accordance with part 4 section 2 HOAI, service phases 2 to 9 in accordance with § 55 HOAI for the implementation of modernization and conversion measures of boarding school (building 1-6) of the State School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Neuwied. The buildings are located in the entire facility of the blind school in 56567 Neuwied, Feldkircher Straße.
Complemented by special services:
— to set up and update and finish the technical part of the room book,
— transfer of planning and cost data into digital collection forms in accordance with Section K 6 RLbau,
— completion of the technical part of the room book (inventory book),
- Monitoring the rectification of defects within the limitation periods.
The overall construction project consists of 6, essentially comparable boarding school buildings. Due to the spatial conditions, the 6 buildings are divided into 2 groups of measures.
— Group 1: Building 1-4,
— group 2: building 5-6.
The structural implementation of the overall measure takes place by building. Each building has its own construction phase.
The buildings are 2 floors, basement and flat roof. The development takes place via an upstream staircase with pent roof construction. External dimensions of each building: 23.10 m x 27.75 m.
The buildings must be renovated in accordance with fire protection concept and pollutant remediation is also required. The sanitary rooms will be rebuilt and rebuilt. Renovation and modernization work as well as the upgrading of the technical systems are also carried out.
Buildings 1-4 inhabit blind and visually impaired children. There are accommodation rooms (16 beds/floor), living-dining room, kitchenette and sanitary facilities, as well as conference, therapy room and office on the upper floor. The KG has storage, technical, hobby, play, fitness and toilet rooms.
Buildings 5 and 6 are currently used to care for adult people with multiple disabilities. Group, rest, therapy, multi-purpose, staff, sanitary rooms and tea kitchens are set up. The KG has storage, technology, hobby, party room, laundry room and work rooms.

— in the necessary hallways: expansion or training in F 30-A quality of fixtures, fire protection technologies. upgrading of manhole coverings,
— replacement of suspended ceilings in fire retardant quality

Technical equipment:
— dismantling of the entire H/L/S systems in the respective building
— dismantling of wall hydrants, but equipped with hand fire extinguishers

— renewal of the entire toilet, washing and shower facilities

— Ventilation renewal.
