Creation of a monument conservation plan for advertising.
The subject of the tender is the creation of a monument conservation plan for the listed underground stations of the BVG.
The monument conservation plan should contain statements on the underground stations of the individual lines with regard to their compatibility with advertising, as well as statements on advertising media with assessments of their compatibility with monument law on the underground stations of the individual lines.
The monument conservation plan serves as a practical aid for dealing with advertising and planning advertising systems.
Using it, approval procedures for advertising systems are to be simplified, in particular procedures for issuing a monument protection permit according to § 11 DSchG Bln.
In addition, the monument conservation plan is intended to support:
- the specific search for suitable locations for certain advertising media,
- the specific search for suitable advertising media for specific locations,
- the clarification of location issues for such advertising media that are not explicitly discussed (such as those with special formats), through general statements on the compatibility of advertising media and the statements about the underground lines.
The subway stations should be viewed according to lines, since the stations on a line have often been designed by an architect. The finished monument conservation plan must be designed in such a way that it is accepted by the State Monuments Office and signed by both sides. It should apply as an agreement on the basis of which new and / or modernized advertising systems can be applied for from the lower monument protection authorities in the future.
