A multi-frequency multibeam echosounder is required to record changes in morpho- and hydrodynamics, sediment classification, fish habitat mapping, stratification detection, particle density estimations in the water column and to inspect the anchorages of HEREON measuring systems. The MBES is used mobile on various measuring boats and measuring vessels in rivers, lakes and coastal waters up to 200m water depth.
- Possibility to operate four to five freely selectable frequencies simultaneously
- Output of water column data for multispectral analysis
- Frequency range between 180 and 800 kHz and an angular resolution of approx. 0.5° (in high-resolution mode), otherwise 1° standard
- Including an integrated inertial navigation system with 2 GNSS antennas (baseline of 2m always given) with the possibility to use either NTRIP or your own reference station (UHF/VHF receiver available)
- All hardware and software options must be listed individually with price
- Ship advance mode desired for surveying in shallow waters
- Manufacturer's warranty at least 3 years
- Training of 3 HEREON employees as well as joint commissioning with integration into Hypack Hysweep (license available)

Preamble
The Helmholtz-Zentrum hereon GmbH (Hereon) is a non-profit research institution and one of the 18 member institutions of the Hermann von Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres. 90% of the expenses of the Hereon are financed by the federal government (BMBF - Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and 10% by the four consortium states (Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Brandenburg).
