Ullensaker Municipality will expand the capacity at Gardermoen wastewater treatment plant. In addition to a considerable capacity expansion, the new Gardermoen wastewater treatment plant must fulfil significantly more stringent requirements on the reduction of the total amount of phosphor used in the treatment process. The expansion will consist of a new treatment plant being constructed next to the existing treatment plant, a new intake pump station for the new treatment plant, and a new pre-treatment plant in order to increase the treatment capacity for deicing fluids, C-glycol, from the airport. In addition to the expanded treatment capacity, the existing administration building will also be upgraded.

The expansion of Gardermoen wastewater treatment plant, the UGRA project, will consist of several different contracts. This notice is for a ventilation contract, EV01.

The ventilation contract consists of the delivery and assembly of a new ventilation aggregate, with the accompanying channel system for supply air and extraction for a new, free-standing treatment plant. This building will consist of approx. 4 200 m2 base area with a main surface level, lower floor and basement. The aggregate for supply air and extraction from the process hall must have a capacity of approx. 70 000 m3/h of supply air and approx. 40 000 m3/h of extraction. In addition, all transport of air from spot extraction in different parts of the treatment process is included, including fans and channels with a capacity of approx. 33 000 m3/t, for new odour removal installations delivered by the process contractor. An aggregate for supply air and extraction must be delivered and assembled for the personnel part of the new treatment plant, with a capacity of approx. 3 500 m3.

The contract also includes alterations to the channel network in the existing plant, both for the alteration of the administration building, and also because the new intake pump station and the new pre-treatment plant will be connected to the existing plant and connected to the existing ventilation installations.
