NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden and GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SDCCG) and NHS England (North Midlands) have appointed a suitably qualified provider to deliver alternative primary medical services for St Thomas Road Surgery in Derby City.
The contracts is for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for up to 5 years (60 months).
These services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the provider will be expected to deliver:
— high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of the local population,
— promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health,
— essential services,
— all additional services,
— all enhanced services commissioned by NHS England and SDCCG,
— increased access.
These services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the provider will be expected to deliver:
