As a part of the internal lighting system for the Nidaros Cathedral spotlights for architectural lighting in the Cathedral's main room, chapels on the ground level and the chapel house.

The Nidaros Cathedral is listed in accordance with the Cultural Heritage Act as an automatically listed cultural monument. Due to the building's listing status and its cultural monument and symbolic values, there are very restricted requirements for the measures and visual changes that can be made on the building. This result in restricted fastening opportunities for the lighting system, in addition to a requirement for hiding as much as possible of the lighting fittings from the Cathedral's main room. Stringent demands are made for the size, the brightness and the stability of fastening devices and the design of fittings, as a lot of the equipment must be placed in great heights above the audience.
