Description:
Acquisition, delivery, installation and commissioning of a laser system (pump laser+parametric amplifier) for three-photon excitation microscopy applications

The purpose of this consultation is: The acquisition, delivery, installation and commissioning of a laser system (pump laser+parametric amplifier) for applications in three-photon excitation microscopy on behalf of the Institute of Vision, UMR CNRS 7210.

This purchase is made as part of the development of the experiment of a three-photon excitation holographic microscope for excitation and functional imaging of deep mouse cortex neurons in the brain as part of an ERC Grant Holovis Holographic control of visual.

The purpose of this contract is to provide the laser system (pump laser+parametric amplifier) which will be used as the light source that will excite the three-photon process of photosensitive molecules genetically expressed in neurons.

Taking into account the specificities of the experiment and in particular the use of a specific objective already existing in the laboratory for this project, the system must ensure the possibility of compensating for the chromatic dispersion of each beam through this lens.

Particular attention will be paid to the technical specifications of the tenders received, including the system's pulse power and energy for each wavelength, the characteristics of the compression units, the system footprint, the delivery time, the conditions of after-sales service.

The technical and functional specifications of the laser system are specified in Special Clauses (PCC) No.2021_Laser_System_UMR7210.

Variants are allowed on the following point:

— Variant #1: System architecture and wavelengths that emit the system. In the event that the system architecture is such that the wavelength of each line of the system is variable, the wavelengths requested in the market presentation (Article 1) must consist of a choice with the specified minimum performance. In this case, the candidate must provide an array or graph with the powers and energies that the system emits at each wavelength.

An optional Supplementary Benefit (PES):

— PES #1: possibility and cost of changing the 1700 nm line to another emission wavelength if necessary in the future.
