The order comprises the delivery, installation and management and maintenance until 1.1.2023 of the Loading facility (s), preferably two facilities. The municipality of Arnhem is the only municipality in the Netherlands with a Trolley network. With Trolley 2.0, Trolley buses are supplied with batteries with an optimized energy performance (Trolley 2.0). The existing catenary network is used as a charging infrastructure. The batteries create the possibility to drive without using the overhead contact line and existing lines can be extended to the outer areas or buses running on diesel or gas can be replaced. By realizing Opportunity Charging (OC) charging points, the application of Trolley 2.0 can be further expanded in the network. With the realization of charging facilities for buses, possibilities also arise for charging facilities of cars using the same power supply.
