The call for tenders concerns total consultancy to Thisted Municipality in connection with the establishment of a new reloading station in Thisted as well as the upgrading of existing recycling centres in Thisted and Frøstrup in accordance with Thisted Municipality's vision plans for this.

With the upgrades, Thisted and Frøstrup Recycling Centres will be given a quality boost to correspond to the recycling scenes in Hanstholm and Hurup. Approved construction grants amount to DKK 5.0 million for Frøstrup in 2023 and DKK 30.0 million for Thisted equally distributed in 2023 and 2024.

The establishment of a new central reloading station in Thisted has been prompted by a new collection scheme with the collection of 10 fall-off fractions directly from households with a view to optimising/streamlining the further transport of collected waste fractions. The reloading station will be located on the neighbouring area of Thisted Recycling Centre. Approved construction grant amounts to DKK 21.0 million in 2023.
