The city of Burgdorf is planning the construction of a new central municipal construction depot with various storage areas for building materials and halls for construction machinery and motor vehicles with associated outdoor areas in the energy network with the municipal sewage treatment plant. For this purpose, an innovative and sustainable energy concept is being implemented.
The new building yard will house municipal organisational units that maintain and maintain public facilities and facilities.
The construction work is to be carried out on the property "Neuer Bauhof" (Hülptingser Berg) on the eastern outskirts of Burgdorf, which is owned by the city of Burgdorf and covers about 24,500 m². The property is bordered in the south by the Dachtmisser Weg on the opposite side of which the property of the sewage treatment plant adjoins. A site plan is attached to the procurement documents.
The construction volume of the buildings to be planned is approximately 4,360 m² net usable area. In addition to the building areas, approximately 10,600 m² of functional areas are added in the outdoor facilities.
The new building includes an office and administration area, a social and recreational area, various workshops and warehouses, the vehicle halls, as well as the necessary premises of the building services. In addition to the storage areas and bulk material boxes, the functional areas in the outdoor facilities essentially consist of two washing stations, installation areas for salt silos and a brine system as well as car parking spaces with the associated traffic areas.
With regard to the energy network to be created, the energy concept with the required liquids is to be implemented in parts on the site of the wastewater treatment plant opposite.
The subject of the present award procedure is the holistic awarding of planning and construction services for the new construction of the municipal building yard, including the implementation of the energy network. The total transferee to be selected must offer interim construction financing until acceptance. The project is to be implemented as an energy efficiency building for which KFW funding can be applied for.
The following key scheduling dates (milestones) must be taken into account in the context of the provision of services according to the current state of planning:
- Order placed 02.10.2023
- Baufertigstellung 06.10.2025
The client also expressly points out that the commissioning of the construction depot must take place in good time before the start of the winter period.
