Luxembourg Airport - Findel, Electromechanical Equipment of the Holding Pond “S2"

This project covers the supply and the electromechanical equipment of the S2 structure. In particular, the latter should be able to carry out the modular allocation of storage volumes, to the rainwater retention basin or to the storm basin for polluted water, using a set of DN? 2000. Other equipment is also to be expected. Integrating this equipment into the airport's centralized remote control system is also part of the market. Main positions: 15 valves with dimensions DN? 1200 to DN? 2000, 14 pumps with a nominal flow rate of up to 80 liters/s, 5 NS 90 oil separators, 3 NS 75 oil separators, 2 siphoid walls for thresholds, 4 installations for measuring the total organic carbon of water, equipment for a complete supply of drinking water in the structure and in the offices, system of cranes and pressure doors, ventilation system. Foreseeable start of construction: September 2022 Expected duration of construction: 300 working days

As part of the compliance of the sanitation of Luxembourg airport, a combined storm, retention and fire basin was built. It is intended to recover runoff water from the so-called tarmac surfaces P1, P2, P3, P7, P10, as well as various future extensions, before it is conveyed to the Übersyren sewage treatment plant or the existing S1 basin.
