NIE wishes to appoint Tenderers to enter into seperate Framework Agreements for the provision of Services and Works in relation provision of Excavation, Cable Laying & Reinstatement Works associated with.

The excavation and reinstatement of trenches, the laying of cables from LV service to 33kV together with associated works.

The excavation and reinstatement of joint holes.

Laying of 33kV, 11kV, LV and Service Cables (including associated auxiliary cables and ducts).

Other associated works and services in connection with the above list as deemed appropriate.

The Works and Services shall be carried out at various locations throughout Northern Ireland.

The framework contract is for a period of three years with the option, exercisable exclusively by NIE, to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years.

The Works and Services shall be divided into Lots as per below.

Lot 1 Belfast.

Lot 2 North.

Lot 3 South.

Lot 4 East.

Lot 5 West.

NIE will determine the most economically advantageous tenderer for each lot. One tenderer could be awarded one or more lots.

The total value of the framework is estimated at 340 000,00 GBP for the three-year period (56 000 000,00 GBP if extended to five years).
