A travel habit survey shall be carried out in order to gain updated knowledge about the bicycle percentage and the bicycle traffic in Oslo. The travel habit survey shall be carried out using the same method and at the same time of year as the travel habit survey carried out in 2013, so that the results shall be as comparable as possible. In 2013, the interview period was from 7.10.2013 to 18.11.2013, and a total of 2,388 responses were collected.

— the assignment consists of data collection, analysis of collected data and reporting of the results. The focus of the analysis and reporting work will be bicycle travel, and the certainty of the results will be evaluated,

— the travel habit survey shall be carried out using the same method and at the same time of year as the first travel habit survey that was carried out in autumn 2013 so that the results shall be comparable,

— the survey comprises persons of 18-75 years who reside in Oslo kommune, and travel which either starts or finishes within the municipal border. The survey will primarily be carried out via telephone interviews, but since in 2013 it was also possible to respond via a web connection, this possibility must also be available in this survey. The selection of interviewees shall be random, but will be stratified over the suburbs and the week days,

— in 2013, the interviews were carried out in the period 7.10.2013 to 18.11.2013 and a total of 2 388 responses were collected. At least the same number of responses should be collected as in 2013.
