The skate park offers an answer to the wishes of the existing and potential users, they are involved throughout the process.
The skate park challenges the users of every level to get better. It is accessible, invites starters to take the first steps and advanced to get better. The skate park is available for skaters, bmx players, steppers, bladers... It is also designed in such a way that challenging competitions can be organized.
The new skate park forms a harmonious whole with the environment in which it is being built, in connection with youth home/youth service, De Boare the future Home of the child and the neighborhood. Attention is paid to openness and social control, the neighborhood, the mitigation of noise, safety of users and adjacent road users, construction of water drainage...
The skate park is complementary to skate parks in the region, which also makes it attractive to skaters from surrounding municipalities/cities. It has a regional look.
