Falls response services aim to reduce the demand on hospitals, ambulance services and mitigate the potential negative health outcomes associated with hospital admissions for older people following a fall. This is provided through fast access to trained staff that respond to individuals who have had a non-injurious fall and who are able to be managed within their home environment thus keeping older people independent for longer.
