The Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells is a large acute 862 bedded Trust consisting of three main hospitals, Maidstone, Pembury and the Kent and Sussex Hospital based in Tunbridge Wells, providing a full range of general hospital services and specialist cancer care. A new PFI hospital has been constructed on the existing Pembury Hospital site and this will provide all inpatients accommodation in single rooms making it the first NHS acute hospital of its kind in the UK. In September 2011 the Kent and Sussex Hospital will close. All services currently at the Kent and Sussex will move to the new hospital at Pembury. The new 6300 sqm has 513 beds.

The Trust requires to purchase General Use Trolleys this will be a single make / model to support the mix of Inpatient, Accident & Emergency and Theatre use.
