The subject of the contract are services in the field of forest management in accordance with the definition in Article 6(1)(1) of the Act of 28 September 1991 on forests (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2022, item 672 – "Act on Forests") including works in the field of harvesting and harvesting of wood to be carried out in the administrative area of the Kościerzyna Forest District in the area of forestry: Ludwikowo, Strzelnica, Wierzysko, Debrzyno, Grzybowski Młyn and Wdzydze in connection with the cleaning of areas damaged from the wind in 2022 in order to partially eliminate the effects of the storm that took place on July 1, 2022. Delivery date: until 29 March 2023.

The subject of the contract are services in the field of forest management, including works in the field of harvesting and harvesting wood to be carried out in the administrative area of the Kościerzyna Forest District in the Ludwikowo forestry area in connection with the cleaning of areas damaged from the wind in 2022 in order to eliminate the effects of the storm that took place on July 1, 2022. The material scope of the subject of the contract includes the total quantities of works in the field of harvesting and harvesting wood resulting from Annex 2 to the SWZ, which consists of:

Appendix No. 2.1. – planned size of works;

Appendix No. 2.2. – detailed size of works by groups of activities, activities and locations;

Appendix No. 2.3.1. – characteristics of the forestry/timber harvesting package;

Appendix No. 2.3.2. – assortment system of timber harvesting;

Attachment No. 2.3.3. – a list of distances and conditions of harvesting wood;

Appendix No. 2.3.4. – list of items with additional difficulties in the field of harvesting and skidding;

Appendix No. 2.3.5. – list of items not made available for machine acquisition;

Appendix No. 2.3.6. – information on the optimal possible technology of wood harvesting.

The material scopes listed in the annexes included in Annex 2 are estimates. Quality standards relating to all essential features of the subject of the contract are specified in Appendix No. 3 to the SWZ. Descriptions of activity codes describing individual forest works (activities) included in the subject of the contract are described in Appendix No. 3 to the SWZ. A description of the rules for the procedure for commissioning forest works is included in Annex 3 to the SWZ

The Contracting Authority shall require employment by the Contractor or subcontractor on the basis of the contract of employment of persons performing the activities part of the subject of the contract involving the acquisition and retraction of the wood raw material, if the performance of these activities consists in the performance of the work in the manner laid down in Article. 22 § 1 of the Act of 26 June 1974 — Labor Code (text: Journal of Laws of 2020 item 1320 as amended).

The services will consist in harvesting and skidding wood based on two possible technologies - according to the Choice of the Contractor:

(a) for use for harvesting timber and for the manufacture of wood grading chainsaws and for skidding of a skidding tractor or (i) a tractor adapted for skidding, forwarders or (i) tractors adapted for the overfishing of wood, equipped with cranes for loading and unloading wood;

b) with the use for harvesting wood and making assortments of wood forestry machines (multi-operational) types of harvesters, and for skidding a skidding tractor or (i) a tractor adapted for skidding, forwarders or (i) tractors adapted for overfishing wood, equipped with cranes for loading and unloading wood (wood skidding).

The contracting authority provides for the possibility of awarding contracts referred to in Article 214(1)(7) of the Public Procurement Law within a period of 3 years from the date of award of the basic contract. The material scope of the services covered by the contracts referred to in the previous sentence will not exceed 50% of the value of this contract and will consist in the repetition of services consistent with the services being the subject of this contract and services similar to them in the technological aspect of their performance, i.e. they will concern the harvesting and harvesting of wood and will include activities indicated generically in Annex 2 to the SWZ.
