a) To provide continuous access to and availability of treatment for urgent care needs.

b) To assess and treat any illness or injury not requiring intensive or specialist care and prevent avoidable A&E attendances.

c) To develop a responsive service that anticipates issues, develops and implements plans to address them and makes informed service improvements.
