The intention is to commission engineering services in accordance with Part 4 Section 2 HOAI (Plant Groups 8 - Building Automation) in service phases 2,3,5,6,7 and 8 as well as special services for the adaptation and updating of building automation in the island area of the Bundeswehr Hospital, Oberer Eselsberg 40, 89081 Ulm.

The Bundeswehrkrankenhaus Ulm already has a building automation structure in accordance with the GA Basis 3.0 manual and, to some extent, Basis 4.0. Over time, plant components become obsolete and must be updated and expanded for final expansion. This primarily includes the management level. A plan is to be drawn up: Update of the building automation in the island area of the Bundeswehrkrankenhaus Ulm with 129 information centres (ISP) with approx. 24,000 physical data points. The final expansion (expected by 2034) includes approx. 215 ISPs with approx. 40,000 physical data points. Field, automation and management levels are affected in accordance with the technical functional requirements (Parts 5, 6 and 7) of the Building Automation Handbook. The update of the GA is to take place during ongoing operations. Operational failures can be largely ruled out by means of compensatory measures.
