The storage centre is located in the communes of Saint-Fons and Lyon 7. The area selected for this project is located between the rue de Surville to the north and the boulevard Laurent Bonnevay ring road at the Sud.La future T10 tram line will run alongside the storage centre on the west side of the plot dedicated to the installation of the depot. The site is "flown over" by a high-voltage line diagonally and bordered to the north-east by the Travellers' area. To the south and east, the ring road and the railway tracks dominate respectively. The site has 2 main accesses: the "road" access to the north and the "tramway" access to the west.
