The objective of the tender contest is to enter into a contract for Transport of patients by road for the Helgeland Hospital Trust. Transport of patients by road is a facilitated transport service when the patient needs this on a medical or transport basis. The tender contest is being held by Helse Nord RHF [the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority]. Agreements are entered between the individual health trusts and the successful tenderer. Resources from Sykehusinnkjøp HF are assisting Helse Nord RHF [the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority] with the procurement.

Applies to land transport services of patients in areas included in the Helgeland Hospital Trust (HLSH). The areas concerned are given in a separate overview, cf. the tender documentation's Annex 2 'Oversikt anbudsområder HLSH'.
