The building site is in Tapiola, Espoo, to Kelohongantie 6, the future kindergarten building. The building is two storeys and houses six (6) kindergarten groups (126 children in total) as well as 22 staff members. No shift care facilities are placed in the building.

In addition to kindergarten and administrative facilities, the building includes a c. 100 m2exercise hall, one (1) S1 class population shelter, a heating kitchen, as well as a dining area and required technical facilities. The gym and dining area are occupied in the evenings.

The new building is CLT element frame, with timber upholstery on the facade, as well as a grooved timber panel between the windows. The roof is a lofty two-brushed bitumen cream roof with eaves.

The contractor acts as the general contractor and the principal executor as intended by the legislation in the scope of the procurement documents.

In procurement documents, sectoral plan documents and annexes to the construction permit complement each other, where the newer corresponding document is more valid.
