Nedre Romerike brann- og redningsvesen IKS (NRBR) intends to procure a rescue vehicle to transport equipment to emergency rescue operations with heavy vehicles, USAR, towing rescues, and animal rescues.
The rescue vehicle will be used as part of the first turn-out in order take specialist equipment to emergency rescue operations with heavy vehicles, USAR, towing rescues, and animal rescues. It must be a lorry with a body that has rolling doors on each side and a back lift, the driver cabin must have room for a passenger. It is important that the equipment placement is thought through in order to ensure good HSE an efficient operation. Logical and clear build-up of the fittings is therefore important.
The character of the service places high requirements on the vehicle being able to transport equipment to the damage location safely and efficiently, on both long and short turn-outs. The vehicle must not be confused with a breakdown vehicle, it will only transport equipment and up to 2 crew.
