Scheme for Planned Maintenance works undertaken on yearly cycles to the current Housing stock of approximately 3,000 properties for South Derbyshire District Council.
This contract relates to the external planned maintenance works, to include all associated Building requirements, including, Roofing, fascias & soffits, replacement doors and windows, garden paths, brickwork and general maintenance requirements.
We anticipate this contract will be awarded to a company with a proven record of undertaking this type of work as a Principal Contractor. This is not a sub-contract.
The general works will consist of:
— The surveying of around 600 properties on an annual basis, planning the works, preparing a schedule of works and the supply and installation of all materials associated with the works.
— To maintain the properties, undertaking the works indentified on the pre-determined survey sheets, including all brickwork pointing, flat roofing works, brickwork retaining walls, garden paths, roofing works, fascia and soffits, garden fencing etc.
— To undertake programmes for replacement doors and windows, including any structural works as directed by SDDC.
The duration of this contract is for an initial period of 3 year with option to extend by a further 2 years.
