The realisation of an estimated number of four pre-installed underground HDPE pipelines (estimated outer diameter between 560 and 800 mm), each of approximately 500m length, between sea-bed and land station.
Two offshore high voltage AC substations and Cable Systems to the onshore high voltage grid are foreseen on the Hollandse Kust (zuid) wind farm area.
Each Cable System will consist of two circuits each consisting of one three core 220 kV AC Sea Cable which shall also be used for the onshore part. This cable is tendered in a separate tender procedure (Cabletender).
The landfall of the cables is foreseen via an estimated number of four pre-installed underground HDPE pipelines('estimated outer diameter between 560 and 800 mm), each of approximately 500m length, between seabed and land-station.
The scope of work for this (HDD-)tender includes (not limited):
— design, engineering, manufacturing, near shore, landfall and onshore installation of underground HDPE,
Pipelines installed by horizontal directional drilling (HDD).
— delivery of all materials,
— installation HDPE pipeline with additional length,
— cleaning and testing of the HDPE pipeline before and after installation,
— installation of a messenger wire,
— sealing during the wet storage period,
— temporary lay down for an additional length on sea-bed, with an easy removable ballast,
— optimizing design and execution in close collaboration with cable contractor.
The execution of the works is foreseen in 2019.
Not part of the scope:
— cable pull-in,
— dredging of the exit pit offshore.
The basis for the contract in this HDD-tender shall be FIDIC Yellow Book.
