Description:
Support is needed for the implementation of the KHZG project in Germany, focusing on establishing a central control center, implementing Clinical Decision Support, and needs-based bed management to improve hospital processes and digital infrastructure.

The Hospital Future Act (KHZG) is a law passed in Germany in September 2020 that aims to promote the digitalization of hospitals in Germany. The law provides a total of five billion euros to enable investments in the digital infrastructure of hospitals. Among other things, this is intended to drive forward the digitalization of hospital processes and the introduction of telemedicine and digital patient records.
The KHZG contains specific regulations on how the funds are to be used and what conditions the hospitals must meet in order to receive the funding. The implementation of the KHZG is being driven by various actors such as the Federal Ministry of Health and the hospital operators in Germany.
Within the framework of the funding guidelines for the KHZG, support in the form of an experienced project manager for the UKF is sought for implementation.

Within the KHZG project, the following goals are pursued:
 Establishment of a central control centre with the aim of making relevant information on processes and resources transparent (in real time) and thus making maximum and sensible use of staff and improving decision-making and communication
 Implement Clinical Decision Support as a support tool. Artificial intelligence specially adapted to the experience level of the staff (roles & skills). Complemented by intelligent monitoring
 Integrated overview & proactive action. Needs-based bed management, in which the needs and requirements of various stakeholders in the UKF are taken into account (e.g. economization, focused care of the patient)
